Post-Brexit: Towards a trade policy that supports development

A briefing paper suggesting priorities for the design of the UK's post-Brexit trade policy, in the lead up to the publication of the government's Trade Bill. This calls on government to:

  • Ensure parliamentary and public scrutiny of trade deals
  • Offer market access to developing countries
  • Ensure that trade agreements with richer countries consider the potential impact on developing countries

This is jointly presented with Christian Aid, Trade Justice Movement, Fairtrade Foundation, Oxfam, CAFOD, Actionaid and Tearfund.
