Salary: FTE £19,000 (£15,405 pro rata)

Traidcraft Exchange is an international charity with a mission to use the power of trade to create lasting solutions to poverty. We are the partner charity of Traidcraft, the fair trade company and we bring people together to fight injustice in trade.
This is a fixed term role to provide professional and efficient administrative support to the Gateshead based Traidcraft Exchange team with a key focus on fundraising administration. The role is required to support the team through a busy and varied fundraising appeal period.
The role will cover basic administration and donor support for the fundraising team, which will include providing excellent donor care, entry onto a donor database and mailings and thank-you letters. It will also cover other areas of administration for the wider team such as organising travel and accommodation for international project visits, filing and meeting organisation.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised with a ‘can do’ approach who is reliable and diligent. They will also have great attention to detail and be an effective communicator in person and in writing. We are looking for someone with previous experience of administration, ideally in a charity setting, and good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and a customer or donor database.
